For the strands of the stranding machine, if the strands are twisted in concentric layers, it is necessary to consider whether the number and size of the pay-off reels of the stranding machine are suitable for it, and then consider the stranding direction, pitch length and whether to back twist or not. If it is a multi-stranded wire, it is necessary to consider the deformation of strands, which requires analyzing the structure, specifications, materials, and the process data of the stranded wire, and finally selecting a suitable stranding machine. If it is a bundled product, in addition to the number and size of the pay-off reel, the determination of the size of the take-up reel is much more important than that of the stranding machine.
If it is a thick single line, use a large pay-off reel, and there is no strict regulation, it should be ordered according to the specified length. Use small reels for thin lines and large reels for thick lines.
Generally speaking, the rotational speed of the cage stranding machine is much lower than that of the fork stranding machine, and the rotational speed of the fork stranding machine is much lower than that of the tube stranding machine.

Stranding principle of stranding machine and definition of stranding pitch
Stranding machine is a kind of cable equipment used for twisting core wires such as power wires, earphone wires, and electronic wires. The main principle of the twisted wire is: when the copper wire passes through the twisted bow on the stranding machine, the twisted bow makes each single copper wire spirally wound together through a circular motion; Stranded copper wire is the largest amount of a single copper wire. The copper wires of different specifications and different numbers are twisted together in a certain arrangement order and twist pitch to become a conductor with a larger diameter. The conductor is much softer than a single copper wire of the same diameter, and the resulting wire bends better.
The definition of the twisting pitch of the stranding machine is that the single wire appears once at a fixed distance along the direction of the stranding wire, and the fixed distance apart is the pitch of the stranding (referred to as twisting pitch). Another definition of twisting pitch is that refers to the vertical distance of the stranded wire body after every 360° of rotation along the twist axis, the unit is mm, and the English is pitch.
Wire bundles are twisted by multiple wires. Generally speaking, the single wire of the bundle is many and thin, which increases the flexibility of the wire and cable, and also improves the reliability of the line connection. In order to have better flexibility or high reliability, the conductors of some wires and cables are stranded.
To make the single wire bundle or twist at a certain helix angle (or pitch), the equipment must meet the following requirements: one is to make all single wires rotate around the central axis of the equipment; the other is to make the stranded product straight forward movement. By changing the coordination of these two movements, the size of the helix angle can be adjusted, so that the produced stranded wire or bundled wire meets the structural requirements.
The stranding machine is composed of main parts such as pay-off, traction, wire arrangement and take-up, drag and transmission system and control system. In addition, there are also devices such as a splitter board, a parallel die (also known as a stamper), and a meter counter.
The specifications of the strands produced by the stranding machine are relatively large. Except for one single wire in the center, the pay-off reels of the other single wires are placed in the pay-off part (such as the twisting cage), and single wires are rotated around the central single wire to form a twist layer. According to the number of stranded layers of the stranded wire and the number of single wires per layer, generally, stranding machine is equipped with several pay-off parts that rotate separately, so that each layer can be made into stranded wires with different directions. Stranded wires with concentric layers are particularly suitable.
The specifications of the bundled wire produced by the bundling machine are small, and it forms the wire bundle by the rotation of the basket or the rotating body of the wire take-up part. Since the operation of the bundling machine is in the take-up part, the speed change mechanism is installed in the rotating basket, and its position is limited, which determines that the bundling machine can only be made into a product with a fixed twisted direction and a smaller size, but the number of single wires can be flexibly configured according to needs.
How to do the self-inspection of the stranding machine?
As an enterprise, the normal operation of the machine is very necessary. In order to make the finished product look better, the quality is better, and the loss caused by human beings is minimized, the following work should be done during the use of the stranding machine:
1. Check that there is no redness or blackening of the strand conductors in the previous process;
2. Confirm that the number and direction of strands in the previous process is correct, the identification is complete, and the wiring is neat;
3. Verify that the packaging is in good condition, and the logo and specifications are consistent with the process requirements;
4. Check that the actual production operation meets the requirements of the process card;
5. Check that the appearance of the stranded wire is round, the compression molding is good, and there is no missing strands, jumpers, missing packages, etc.;
6. Check that the loading capacity of this process meets the requirements of the upper reel, the coil is in good condition, and the cables are neatly arranged.
