As the first process in the manufacture of cable products, the drawing of the conductor plays a vital role and is closely related to the quality of the product. Due to its large hardness, the use of traditional sliding gear-driven wire drawing machines can easily cause wire surface damage and drawing drum wear, which will affect the surface quality of aluminum wire and reduce the life of the drawing drum.The non-sliding drawing machine provided by our company, each drawing drum is driven by the separate motor independently. During the drawing process, there is almost no sliding between the wires and the drums, which greatly reduces the surface damage of the wires and effectively guarantees the quality of the wires. This is particularly suitable for drawing aluminum alloy wires.

This equipment is mainly composed of the payoff device, the drawing machine, the annealing machine (only for copper RBD with individual motors), the tension controller, the take-up and traverser, and the electrical control system.
The pay-off device uses a horizontal power pay-off machine. The turntable adopts gear transmission and bearing combined bearing carrier. Equipped with turbo reducer and inverter control, the pay-off speed can reach up to 100m / min, which can meet the pay-off requirements when drawing.
The drawing host adopts a horizontal arrangement of drawing drums in series, and each drawing motor independently drives each drawing drum, which can realize rapid die change. By using fully immersed wire drawing box, each wire drawing die seat is provided with oil lubrication and heat dissipation, which can fully lubricate and cool the drawing wires, and improve the cooling and wire drawing effect. Because the sliding rate is reduced to a minimum, the abrasion of the drawing drum is reduced, the surface friction of the wire is reduced, thereby improving the drawing quality and increasing the service life of the drawing drum. The drawing machine frame is a steel plate welded structure. After annealing treatment, it is processed and formed after eliminating internal stress, and has high stability and strength. Due to gearless transmission, with which gear maintenance is eliminated, the equipment has small vibration and low noise during wire drawing production, and no soundproof cover is needed.
In addition to the above-mentioned pay-off device, drawing machine, annealing device, tension controller, take-up and traverser, and electronic control system, some auxiliary equipment such as drawing dies, copper emulsion filters, aluminum powder centrifugal separator pointing machines and cold welders are also needed during the drawing process.

Before the equipment arrives at the customer’s factory, the customer needs to dig the pools for oil cooling and filter system according to the drawings we provide; after the equipment arrives, the customer needs to install the equipment according to the drawings, fix them with anchor bolts, and then connect the pipes. After that, we will send an experienced mechatronics engineer to guide installation and commissioning. After the equipment is installed and commissioned, the engineer will carry out no-load and full-load test machines, and train customers’ workers. The entire commissioning time is expected to be two weeks.
