We are thrilled to say that LINT TOP has achieved a major milestone in China with the successful implementation of 3-layer longitudinal taping and cabling using our innovative double twist stranding machine.
Typically, multi-core wire taping and cabling is performed using a single twister. However, our customer challenged us to utilize a double twist stranding machine for this purpose, marking a pioneering endeavor in the industry.
The production process begins with longitudinal taping of 3 core wires using PET tape. Subsequently, the drain wire is placed over the first layer tape, followed by the application of a second layer of AL foil tape and a third layer of PET tape. After the meticulous 3-layer longitudinal taping process, the wire is fed into the double twister for cabling, achieving a helicopter wrapping effect.
LINT TOP took charge of the machine design and collaborated closely with the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
Upon completion of the machinery production, our customer visited LINT TOP cable machine for inspection and conducted test runs. We are delighted to report that the machine performed exceptionally well. Our customer expressed satisfaction with the twisting pitch, line speed, and the superior quality of the final products.
In addition to this breakthrough with LINT TOP double twist machine, we also successfully tested our concentric wrapping machine for wrapping Mica tape around copper wires. Once again, our customer was impressed with the line speed and the quality of the end products.
During their visit, we showcased our wide range of machinery, including the RBD machine, rigid strander, high-speed extruder, silicone extruder, and more. The customer commended the high quality and reliability of LINT TOP cable machines.
