ABC cable is short for aerial bundle cable which is overhead power line using several insulated phase conductors bundled tightly together, usually with a bare neutral conductor. Our customer is a large distributor of cable products and cable accessories, they have been worked in this field for many years with very good reputation. Based on years of experience and a large customer base, our customer want to build a cable factory.
At first, when the customer found us, they only proposed the type of cable that they wanted to produce. This requires us to lead the customer to go on. We have designed a detailed cable structure for our customer, and formulated the optimal equipment combination according to the structure cable confirmed by our customer. This whole production line includes Al alloy rod breakdown machine, tubular strander, bow type strander, frame rigid strander, sheath extruding line, electrical heating aging treatment furnace, and rewinding line.
After all these done, we made technical offers for our customer, everything went very smoothly, and our two parties quickly reached an agreement and signed a contract. In order to support them in this field, we not only provided customer with detailed technical support, but also designed the workshop layout for them. The customer’s workshop area is about 1,900 m2. According to the workshop drawings provided by the customer, and also the production process of each equipment, we have made a perfect equipment layout for them. Customer can carry out construction according to this drawing and detailed foundation drawings in advance.
In addition to the above equipment, we can also provide suitable auxiliary equipment for the whole production line, including air compressor, cooling tower, pointing machine, pumps and butt welders, etc. Further more, the cable produced also needs to be tested before entering the market, according to the test standard NF C 33-209, we can list the items to be tested and the corresponding testing equipment, including 19 testing items, such as insulation thickness, mechanical strength of the conductor, thermal aging test, thermal extension test, insulation resistance test, etc.
